Howard Earl McCullum

Howard Earl McCullum was born June 2, 1966 in Joliet, IL to Mary L. Moffett and King Tillman McCullum Sr.  He departed this life on Tuesday, May 3 2022, at 10:20 PM in the care of Lightways Hospice. 

Howard graduated in 1984 from Lockport Central High School.  He was a huge fan of Michael Jackson and loved to mimic and also mastered his dance moves.  He loved to cook and have a good time with family, friends, and his "Paw Paw Babies".

Howard was proceded in death by his parents, his sister, Lisa McCullum, two brothers, King T. McCullum, Jr., and Kenneth D. McCullum, maternal uncles, Jerry (Maxine) Moffett and George Moffett, aunts Genesteen Croff-Faribairn and Pastor Mae Jewel Ellis; and nephew, King T. McCullum III.

Howard is survived by five children, Tullia (Jason) McCullum, Alethea McCullum, Christopher McCullum, Sr., Vantelle (Leekwan) Carson, Akeem (Patricia) Mitchell and a bonus child Ashanti Mitchell; grandchildren, Mi'Kayla Stackhouse, Christopher McCullum, Jr., Key'Mari McCullum, Akeem Mitchell, Jr., LeeAjah Carson, Leekwan Carson III, Le'Nale Carson, Jason Turner Jr., Harlem Mitchell, Zayne Williamson, Queen Mitchell, Kylie "Chrissy" McCullum; siblings, Jerry (Tawanna) McCullum, Rosie "Marie" King, and Rachelle Simpson; maternal aunts and uncles, Georgia (Larry) Parker, Bertha (Dennis) Sims, Dennis Moffett, and Johnny (Arlene) Moffett; paternal aunts and uncles,  Bobbynell (John) Lucas and Hattie (Pastor Eudis) Denson; his fiancé, Lori Weeks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
