Jacolb Ammons was born on February 5, 1988 to the union of Melvin and Anita Ammons. Jacolb passed away suddenly on May 11, 2023.
Jacolb attended A.O. Marshall and graduated from Joliet West High School. Jacolb completed his Masonry certification at Joliet Junior College and worked as an Assistant General Manager at RJW Logistics Group. Jacolb also had a passion for construction.
Jacolb married his high school sweetheart on October 13, 2018. They were together for 15 years.
Jacolb is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norman E and Willie Mae Ammons; maternal grandparents, Mozell (George) Peters, William Travis; father-in-law,, William Duke; special aunt, Barbara Cartwright.
Jacolb is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Tyana Ammons; three children, Melanie, Jacolb Jr. , and Melissa Ammons; parents, Melvin and Anita Ammons; mother-in-law, Felicia Duke; three sisters, Crystal McDonald, Dynesha Ammons, and Miranda (Marcus) Godfrey all of Joliet, IL; two brothers, Brian Jackson of Kankakee, IL and Melvin Ammons of Joliet, IL; a host of aunts, uncles, loving nieces and nephews, cousins, and numerous devoted and loyal friends (brothers) for over 20 years.
