Jamal M. Russell

Jamal Maila Russell was born May 11, 1979 in Joliet, IL to Micheal "Russ" Russell and Sylvia Johnson-Gross. Jamal made his transition on Sunday, May 24, 2020. 

Jamal Attended Joliet grade schools and graduated from Joliet Township High School (Central Campus). 

Jamal is preceded in death by his parents, Michael "Russ" Russell and Sylvia Johnson-Gross, two uncles, Malcolm Johnson, Sr. and Donald Johnson, and a  great-aunt, Beatrice Johnson. 

Jamal leaves to cherish his memories, his brother, Jalayne Russell of Joliet, IL; two uncles, Raymond Johnson of Joliet, IL and Ronald Johnson of Florida; two special cousins, Tara (Cedric) Robinson of Joliet, IL and Malcolm Johnson, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX; two very special friends, Lorilyn Youngs of Oshkosh, WI and Tara Turner. He also leaves numerous numerous family and friends.
