James Arthur Lunningham

James Lunningham, age 89, beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend, passed away on October 11, 2025.

James was born on April 25, 1936 In Sturgis, MS. His family relocated to Lockport, Illinois, where James grew up and attended Lockport Township High School. James worked over three decades at Corn Products Corporation in Illinois before retiring. 

James is preceded in death by his parents, Cremer and Ludie Lunningham, sisters, Anne Parker, Dorothy Lunningham, Signola Drane and Christine Lunningham; and his brothers Linwood Lunningham and Thomas Christopher Lunningham.

James is survived by his son, Mark LeRoy Lunningham of Indiana, sister, Ludie Jean (Bennie) Williams of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Taylor Janice Lorraine Lunningham, Alexander Robert Brookes Lunningham; daughter in-law, Alexia Ozella Lunningham, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
