Janice M. Morgan

Janice Marie Morgan was born June 8, 1951 to Oliver George Gregory and Sarah Gregory in Joliet, Illinois.

Janice accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Joliet, Illinois.  Due to health reasons, she attended Lively Hope Church of God In Christ in Joliet, Illinois with her family.

She attended Joliet Public Schools and was employed by Dominick’s Food Store as a bagger until her retirement. Janet enjoyed listening to music, especially gospel music.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Morgan Jr.; brothers, James, Frederick and Robert Gregory; twin sister, Jeanette Gregory and son, Michael Morgan.

Janice passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 as Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois.

Janice leaves to cherish her memories; brother, Elder Kenneth (Linda) Gregory; sister, Geraldine Gregory; children, Bernice Gregory, Jeanette Morgan, Frederick (Alicia) Morgan, Eugene (Shawnee) Morgan III, Robert Lee Morgan, Theodore Morgan, and Flora Jean Morgan; 33 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother and will be missed dearly.
