Janice Ruth Moses

Janice’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

Janice Moses, who departed this life on December 22, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on April 9, 1951, to Dorthy Dale and Grover Smith in East Chicago, Indiana. 

Janice was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, known for her warm heart and unwavering spirit.

Janice spent her early years in Mississippi and Chicago where she developed a passion for traveling, art and fishing.  Her love for art and the outdoors was matched only by her dedication to her family. 

She is survived by her grandchildren, Adriana (Jesse) Stroud and Jordan Watson. Great Grandchildren, Zebbidiah Graham, Aaron Stroud, Nora’A Stroud and Jordan Watson. Janice also leaves behind her dear siblings, James (Susie) Smith, who will forever remember her kindness and laughter.  She was predeceased by her parents. Dorthy Dale and Grover Smith also her daughter, Felicia Moses and grandson, Eugene Yates.
