Jannie Pearl Craig Green was one of 16 children born to the late McKinley and Bettie Sander Craig on August 14, 1937 in Brookhaven, Mississippi. She went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 1993.
She had hope in Christ and united with Second Baptist Church in Brookhaven under the late Rev. N.H. Herring. She later moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was married to Eliza Green, no children at that time. Later in years, a daughter was born, Janice Marie Green.
In 1993 she turned her life over in Jesus' hands. Jannie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
She leaves to cherish her memories; a daughter, Janice Marie Green; a grandson, Aldric, Jr.; seven sisters, Mary Quarles, Jean (Charles) Titus, Mandy Craig, all of Joliet, IL; also Ida Mae Craig, Estella Maxwell, Vera Mae Craig of Mississippi and Annie Mae (Mack) Montgomery of Louisiana; also three brothers, Willie B. Craig, Moses Craig and Henry Lee Craig, all of Joliet, IL.
Also aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins as well as a host of other realties and Carol and Claudett, two devoted friends.
