Jeannette was born November 26,1963 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, Illinois to Patricia Keyes and James McDonald, Sr. She stepped into heaven on May 9, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital.
Jeannette attended Joliet Public Schools and graduated from Joliet Central High School in 1981.
Jeannette had the biggest heart and would go out of her way to do anything for anyone. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them whenever she could. If there was a family/friend event, you could bet she would be there. Despite what she was going through, she always tried to maintain a smile on her face. Besides spending time with family and friends, she loved shopping, playing cards and bingo.
The mark she leaves on this family is more than memories, its legacies, as many things wouldn’t have been possible if we didn’t have our Jan. We should remember that she wouldn’t want us to cry for her, she would want us to smile through this because she is not in any pain anymore and no longer suffering.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Keyes, her father, James McDonald. Sr., and her brother, James McDonald III.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sisters, Leslie Grimes (Levell), Sandra Pulley (also known as Bam)(David), Angelique McDonald, Dominique McDonald, and Ashley Owens; one brother, James McDonald II; three sons, John McDonald (also known as Charlie), Jeffrey Campbell, and Robert Jelks (Lajoyia), 14 grandchildren, two nephews, Darius and Deonte Parham; one niece, Davisha Pulley; one special daughter from another, Tara Alexander, and a host of special friends and family.
She was truly an angel on earth & will be missed.
