Jimmie Ware Jr. was born on October 31, 1954 in Mt. Clemens, MI to Buster Jim and Annie Catherine Ware.

He attended school in Battle Creek, MI and Kalamazoo, MI.  In his early 30’s, he moved to Joliet, IL where he worked several jobs.  He also met and married Joseanna Johnson on July 13, 1991.  His hobby was working on cars which he spent many hours doing.

Jimmie passed away on June 8, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buster Jim and Annie Catherine Ware; maternal grandparents, Willie and Minnie McCoy; paternal grandparents, Wilson and Flora Ware; his siblings, Priscilla Ware and Kenneth Lee Ware; sister-in-law, Karen ware; and mother-in-law, Katherine Johnson.

Jimmie is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Joseanna Ware; his children, James Lee Dumas, Monique Whitmore, LaShawnda (Alex) Smith, Shonda Matthews, Toni Whitmore, and Jimmie Bent; his siblings, Wanda Mae Edwards, Dennis Allen Ware, Carolyn Sue Ware, Sharon Marie Ware, Joseph Edward (Patti) Ware; step-children, LaToya Johnson, Chantel Sellers, and Toschan Johnson; sister-in-law, Ruby Ware; seven grandchildren; his friends, Frederick Northington, Johnny Taylor, and James Temple; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.Jimmie Ware Jr. was born on October 31, 1954 in Mt.
