Jonte Jarrell Dorsey

Jonté Jarrell Dorsey was born June 3, 1988 to Adraine Dorsey and Norman Campbell.  He was adopted by his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Johnnie Dorsey. Jonté departed this life on Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Jonté accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as a junior usher.  

Jonté loved life and cherished his family. 

Jonté was preceded in death by his adopted father/maternal grandfather, Raymond Dorsey Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing, his grandmother, Johnnie Dorsey; mother, Adraine Dorsey; father, Norman (Lidia) Campbell; one daughter, Journie Dorsey and step-daughter, Dejah Chandler; paternal grandparents,  Theresa Phillips of Olympia Fields, IL and Norman(Linda) Campbell; four sisters, Jaszmine of Joliet, IL, JaRae of Raveena, OH, Janiqua of Cleveland, OH, and Kourtney Campbell of Joliet, IL; step-brother, Cameron Campbell; three nieces, TyHeir, Aubri, and Ashton; one nephew, Emery; his companion and life-partner, Constance King; aunts, Lorraine (Clyde) Jones of Cleveland, OH, Cassandra Dorsey of Joliet, IL, Tish “T” Presnall of Joliet, IL, Antina Campbell of Los Angeles, CA, and Amanda Phillips of Chicago, IL; one uncle, David (Kelly) Campbell of Oklahoma City, OK. Jonté also leaves a special cousin/brother, Charles Lee and a host of other relatives and friends.
