Joshua Robinson

Joshua Robinson was born December 16, 1983 in Joliet, Illinois to Paul and Lillie Robinson.  He departed this life Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Amita St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, IL.

Joshua attended Joliet District 86 and Joliet Township Central High School.  He loved playing football and baseball.  He worked many different jobs, but his love was raising his baby daughter, Summer Rae Robinson. 

Joshua was preceded in death by his fraternal, grandparents, Ben and Fannie Bell Robinson; maternal grandparents, A. D. and Mary Ella McMillian; one beloved nephew, Elliott Tucker; one sister, Cleopatra Johnson; one uncle, Willis McMillian; and a cousin, Kartrell McMillian.  

Joshua is survived by his parents, Paul and Lillie Robinson of Joliet, IL; two daughters, Amiyah “Mymy” and Summer Rae Robinson, both of Joliet, IL; two brothers, Elijah Robinson of Minooka, IL; and Abraham Robinson of Joliet, IL; six sisters, Lilye (John) Sease of Plainfield, IL; Mary (Curt) Motisi of Joliet, IL; Fannie Harris of Hollywood, CA; Pauline Reese, Ruth Robinson, and Dorcas Franklin all of Joliet, IL; three aunts, Nora Mae Hayes of Jackson, MS, Cora (Wilbert) Hughes and Addie Rean (Paul) Roberson, both of Minter City, MS; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends; and a special friend, Sonny Jenkins.
