Katie Wilson Anderson was born November 23, 1925, in Vaughn , Mississippi, to the late Richard and Hannah Wilson. Katie confessed a belief in Christ at an early age in the state of Mississippi. The family relocated to Yahoo City, Mississippi in 1942.
Katie later migrated to Chicago, Illinois. There she sought employment and worked briefly at the Campbell Soup Company, where she met the love of her life, Isaac Anderson, Sr.. In 1963, Katie Wilson united in holy matrimony with the late Isaac and they celebrated 54 years of wedded devotion until his death in 2017.
Katie Wilson Anderson was a successful entrepreneur working from home as a seamstress for approximately 50 years. Katie, joined the "Southwestern Missionary Baptist Church" presently known as the " Miracle House of Prayer ". Here she remained a faithful member until illness no longer allowed her to do so. She served and worshipped diligently and was a member of the Christian Workers Auxiliary for over 39 years.
Katie made her transition on November 11, 2021 at 11:42 AM. She leaves to cherish her memories: three step children, Isaac Anderson, Jr. , Shirley Anderson, Johnny Anderson (one stepson, Michael Anderson is deceased), grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and other loved ones.
