Our beloved LaSonya Roshelle Hamilton was born on December 29, 1978 to James Howard Hamilton and Annie Jean Luckett-Smith.
LaSonya was a graduate of Joliet Central High School in 1997 and Bauder College Atlanta, GA in 2000 receiving the degrees of Associate of Arts in Business Administration.
LaSonya accepted Christ at a young age at New Canaanland Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Lonnie E. Posley, Sr.
LaSonya was employed at Old National Bank in Joliet, IL. She also was a part of the African American Impact Network.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dillard and Cleo Hamilton, Mattie Ray Hamilton and her maternal grandparents, Eugene and Leora Luckett.
Left to cherish her memories: her children, Jorge (Amber) Martinez III and Jacoby Hamilton, her parents, James H Hamilton and Annie J Luckett-Smith, her siblings, Kevin (Erriann) Burkett, Quanta Hamilton, Tambara (Kelvon) Tanzy and James Buckley, daughter in love, Nija Franklin and sister in love, Elaina Howard, her grandchildren, Ky Williams, Josiah Martinez and Zanoviah Zallie Hamilton, special uncle Calvin (Nellie) Luckett and special aunt Walterine Myers, numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
