LaTasha A. Gooch

LaTasha Ann Gooch was born December 5, 1983 in Joliet. Illinois to Alice Faye Gooch and Theodore Anderson.

LaTasha graduated from Joliet Central High School in May of 1992. She attended DeVry University to become a computer technician. She was employed with Monarch Landing and Premier Care Senior Citizens Homes, both of Naperville, IL.

Latasha loved family, friends, cooking sea food boil, and working. She had a love for life and with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh, was a delight to all she encountered.

Latasha is preceded in death by her father, Theodore Anderson; maternal grandparents, Wesley and Hazel Gooch; paternal grandparents, Robert and Rose Anderson; sister, Tonya Faye Gooch; nephew, Tra’Maine Dupree Jenkins and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Latasha leaves to bask in her glory, her mother Alice Faye Gooch. Brothers: Earley Junior (Gerrie K.) Gooch, Thomas Tirrell Gooch, and Theodore “Teddy” (Latria) Anderson Jr. and two sisters Tracie Gooch and LaDolce (Tony) Anderson. and her fiancé Eric Williams. Latasha also  leaves behind 24 nieces and nephews: Strange’ Gooch-Travis, Travionte’ Gooch, Krishna Sharrieff, Kayden Gooch, Kyrie-Kristopher Gooch, Tonjane’ Gooch, Wesley Gooch, Earley Christian Gooch, Kayla Gooch, Jazmyn Gooch, Keyera Anderson, Chekeria Stokes, Jeniecia D. Gordon, Zoie Anderson, Lov’e Anderson, Kahlil Anderson, Khyrie Anderson Kelis Anderson, Kadriana Coble, Khanijha Anderson, Chakira Anderson, Soutane Anderson, Devontray Hutchinson, Ashanti Hutchinson. Along with 13 great nieces and nephews: Damia Moore, Deonta Moore, Lee Antonyo Mabines, Le’ Kearah Mabins, Le’Kayvion Mabins, DeMiyris Saxton, Cherish Jones, James Jones Jr., Na’Zariah Eason, Journie Gordan, Justin Bently, Chatavian Johnson, and Dionne Clark.

She will be greatly missed by her god son Javon Knight and close personal friends: Sharhondra Knight-Hall, Shurlane Kroger, Sharon Gooch  and Danica Williams and a host of family, friends, and co-workers.
