Larry D. Shaw

Larry Darnell Shaw was born December 4, 1959 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Mrs. Lettie J. Wheat. He passed away peacefully on Friday June 10, 2022 at Amita Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois.

Larry, known as, "Tadow" attended Joliet Central High School and served in the United States Army. 

Larry accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Reverend Dr. Issac Singleton Sr. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Joliet, Illinois. He enjoyed spending time with friends, family and making others laugh. Larry also enjoyed music, dancing, cooking and being outside in nature, especially with horses. 

Larry leaves in the mighty hands of God; his loving mother, Lettie Wheat, daughter, Piffany Ellis; sister, Undreal Simmons, god brother, Isaiah Williams; special nieces, Latonya Jones and La'Kiysha Wolford, along with a host of great nieces and nephews. Larry further leaves in the hands of God his special friends, Doris Smith, Eddie Bee Edwards, Lucy McGee and other family and friends. Larry meets in heaven his sister, Gail Shaw, step-father, Ernest Wheat and god sister, Carolyn Jones.
