Lee Ester (Sims) Hill was born January 16, 1951 in Louin, Mississippi to the late J.M. and Irean (nee Ellis).
She attended Turner Chapel School in Raleigh, Mississippi.
She accepted Christ at an early age at Warren Hill Methodist Church in Louin, Mississippi.
She moved to Joliet, Illinois and later married Eli Wiliams Sr. and that union their only child, Eli Wiliams Jr. was born.
She worked in Health Care as a CNA and later years in the school systems as a foster grandparent.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.M. and Irean Sims; 11 brothers and sisters, James “J.W.”, John Howard, Permilous, Lonnie, Marvin, Elec, Edwin “T”, Lucy, Jimmy, Nell, Luther Ray and Ruby Gay; two special brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Hardaway and Mary “Pee Wee” Sims.
Lee Ester went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Joliet, Illinois.
She leaves to cherish her memories; one son, Eli Williams Jr.; four grandchildren, Tavion Williams, Deamonte Williams, Ekaya Williams and Oshianna Williams; special nieces and nephews, Jennifer Martinez, Jessica Hardaway, Daphney Sims and Ernest Sims; two dear friends, Bobbie McIntosh and Milton Thompson and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
