LESTER EARL BREWER SR.
AKA SQUIRREL
Born March 18, 1954 in Louin, Mississippi. He moved to Illinois in the early 60’s. Born to the late Arlester Sr. and Juanita Brewer. Graduating from Joliet West High School in 1972, He always had a job. He worked many positions, projects, and still balancing and making time for family in which he was bestowed the title of the family Handyman. In addition, he knew how to raise them right! Always willing and ready to teach the new generations good and decent work ethics, problem solving, as well as hobbies such as fishing, chess and even driving. Finally, at every family function he was always the BBQ Grill-Master no family function went without the world-famous ribs, ribs-tips, chicken, and the family BBQ sauce.
He departed Friday August 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and friends. May the positive impacts he has casted upon all whom crossed paths, bear witness to how amazing of a man he was. Lester Earl Brewer Sr; Caring Son, Trusting Nephew, Wonderful Brother, Protective Uncle, and Beloved Father. May his memory forever be encased in the Brewer family……Amen
He is survived by his only son, Lester Jr, his siblings; sisters, Charlotte Brewer, Arlesha (Emmanuel) Lowe, Arlinsey Brewer; bothers; Raymond (Rennetta) Brewer, and Arlester Jr.; aunts, Diane (Bobby) Evans, Wessie Mae Thompson; uncle; Oliver (Lydia) Thompson and a host of nieces and nephews.
