Linda Hester Obituary

Mrs. Linda Sallie Hester was born June 8, 1952 to Excell and Pearlie Sallie, both from Mississippi.

Linda attended and graduated from Joliet east High School; thereafter, she entered the work force full force often working two jobs at the same time. Although life kept her busy, she was devoted to serving God. Linda often took self-study courses where she attained many certificates. She was always willing to pray with you and for you. 

In June of 1978 Linda Sallie made an important decision to wed Terry Dale Hester. On June 15, 1978, Linda Sallie became Linda Sallie Hester. Linda and Terry had three boys, Trenell Sallie Shanon Sallie and Terry Dale Hester Jr. (as well as her children from other mothers, Robert Collier, Marlon Kelly, Michael Quinn, Gorge Copeland, Jermaine Walker and Johnny Gooch. 

She also helped many of girls on our journey to woman hood. Cassandra Hervey NUNU(trenell) and ZAY (Xavier) momma. Linda was queen full life spirit and fire. Linda loved hard and was loyal to her lineage. Linda took pride in her loving and caring got her that hit you in the chest like cheap jinn a plastic bottle family, Always a hot meal cup of coffee conversation prayer or just silence. Linda lived to be a mother and grandmother she was every football wrestling and basket ball game no matter how far no matter the weather. She is that grandmother or person that  told you she loved you she showed it on a regular. Lindas love was unconditional and pure. The love Linda gave could wrap you up and make you feel sublime ad then there is the love she gave out that love that hit you like double shot of V.S.O.P. straght up with no chaser the whole time praying for you.
