Linda J. Turner was born to J.B. Milsap and Argella Wheeler on June 11, 1955 in Joliet, Illinois. She departed this life on September 30, 2024 after a long illness at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois.
She attended Lockport School District and later attended Lockport East High School.
She was united in holy matrimony to Henry Turner and to this union, two children were born.
She attended One Vision Worship Center in Joliet, IL.
She began her career at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center working as a Unit Secretary until her retirement in 2018 after working 42 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Turner; parents; siblings, Lee Calvin Milsap, Leon Milsap; in-laws, L.C. Campbell, Billy Turner, Rudolph Turner, Sr., Josephine Alexander; nephews, Rudolph Turner Jr., Anthony Turner and Victor Milsap.
She is survived by her loving children, Ulysses D. Turner and Cicely (Houston Jr.) Thomas, both of Joliet, IL; grandchildren, Darnell (Danielle) Thomas, Danielle (Rodney) Lee, Daniel Thomas (Amber), Houston (Kary) Thomas III, Antwanette Thomas, Kayla Turner and Brenna Turner; siblings, Rufus (Bobbi) Milsap, Jerry Milsap, Sylvanious “Wince” (Pat) Milsap and Kennedy (Sharon) Milsap; brother-in-law, Bobby (Sandra) and a host of other relatives and friends.
