Lottie Morgan

Lottie Mae Morgan was born May 1, 1939 in Mer Rouge, Louisiana.  She was the second child of the late Ruby Morgan and Lord Shaw.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Sylvester Morgan, Jr. Richard Morgan Sr.; son, Delon Williams and her domestic partner, Eugene Williams.

Lottie accepted Christ in her life at an early age at New Dora Baptist Church. She attended St. Matthew Elementary School where she found her love of playing basketball throughout her high school years at  Union High.  Her dream was to become a teacher, but motherhood was her real calling in life.

Lottie Mae ascended to glory on the afternoon of January 11, 2021.  She will forever be loved and missed by her children, Barbara Ruth Morgan, Patricia "Pat" (Lee) Herman, Darriald Morgan, Belinda "Linda" Morgan-Moultry (Hugo), Chynita "Nita" Morgan, Shineria "Rena" Morgan (daughter/grandchild), Ranonizo "Ronnie" Morgan and Tyrone Williams; brother, McArthur "Mac" Morgan (Charlene); sister, Barbara Little and her special friend, Griffin Vernon; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
