Mrs. Louise Anderson, age 90, peacefully transitioned on Friday, May 22, 2026, surrounded by love, just days after celebrating her 90th birthday. Louise was born on May 19, 1936, in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the late Carrie and Eck O’Neal.
Louise lived a life filled with love, strength, faith, and dedication to her family and community. In 1964, she married the love of her life, James Anderson, and together they built a beautiful life rooted in love and family values.
Determined and hardworking, Louise pursued her education later in life, and became an LPN in the 1970s. She dedicated herself to caring for others, a reflection of the compassion and nurturing spirit she carried throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, James Anderson; her grandparents; and her cherished siblings: Charlie, Albert, Andrew, Eddie, Rosie, Carrie, Fannie, and Precious; and her grandson, Larry Turner Jr.
Louise leaves to cherish her precious memories her three loving daughters: Lula O’Neal Johnson, Lillie Shelly (William), and Delois O’Neal.
She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Jeri (Ginger), Dominique, and Latesha Houston (DaVe).
Her legacy continues through her six great-grandchildren: Quamaine (Jacky), Jeri Jr. (Jasmine), Jalan, Sadayia, DaVe Jr., and Skyla; along with seven great-great-grandchildren: Yazmyn, Quamaine Jr., Reggie, Izayah, Kaliyah, London, and Khole; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Joe, Diane, Lisa, Mary and her caregiver, Glenda.
Louise was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her wisdom, strength, nurturing spirit, and unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she is no longer with us physically, her love and legacy will continue for generations to come.
“It isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later.”
