Louise McAllister was born August 23, 1939 in Laurel, Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late George & Willie Mae Jones, the family moved to Joliet, Illinois in 1941. She graduated from Joliet Central High School and attended Joliet Junior College. God sent an angel to bring her home for eternal rest on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, George and Willie Mae, one sister, Clara Mae (Samuel) Miller of Columbus, Ohio, seven brothers, Henry (Lillie Pearl) Jones, Denson (Barbara) Jones, Shelly (Kay) Jones, Edward (Guyzelle) Jones, James, Babe Ruth and Robert Earl Jones and a special niece, Vivian Smith all of Joliet, IL. She leaves to cherish her memory, one son Michael Jones, four grandchildren, Michael Brandon Jones, Christopher Michael Jones, Jalen Michael Jones and Atyanna Barbie Jones all of California and one great grandson and one great granddaughter, one sister, Georgiadean (Robert Sr.) Scott, of Joliet and one sister-in-law, Kassandra Jones of Houston, TX, two special nieces, LaTonda and Elizabeth Flowers and a great-great nephew, Gary Scott Jr., of Wisconsin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Auntie loved spending time with her friends, playing cards, cooking, a good laugh and most of all taking care of her family. She always sacrificed her needs for her family; Auntie will be remembered as a selfless person. Her joy and kind heart will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with, Auntie to everyone.
