Margaret Bernice Phillips
Margaret was called Home to Glory on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet,
IL. "She was born on February 26, 1948 in Earle, Arkansas, to the late Allan Robbins and Earnestine (nee Jeffries) Robbins. "At the age of 7, the family relocated to Illinois, where she attended Lockport Township Schools and later the Dixon State School in Dixon, IL. Margaret was skilled cook and homemaker who loved watching westerns, comedies and old sitcoms; she was also a devoted Chicago Cubs fan.
Margaret is preceded in death by her father, Allan Robbins; her mother, Earnestine Robbins; her brother, Sonny Robbins and her sister, Patricia Robbins Boisseau.
Margaret is survived by her beloved daughter, MaRita Louise Phillips of Joliet, IL, her beloved son, James Christopher Phillips of Homer Glen, IL; her siblings, Mattie Robbins of Los Angeles,
CA, David (Lisha) Jeffries of Acworth, GA, Steven Jeffries of Bolingbrook, IL, and Christina (Robert) Hayes of Chesapeake, VA; a host of relatives from the Jeffries-Herod-Herrod families,
her very special family at the Illinois Valley Industries of Morris, IL where she lived and fellowshipped for 16 years and the newest of her special family members at Sunny Hill Nursing
