Margie J. Bond

With a heavy heart we are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marjie Jean Bond at age 96 years old. Born Dec. 2, 1929 in Decatur, IL. to William and Lavinia (Kinch) Jones who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death is her beloved husband, John R. Bond III on July 9, 2007. Also preceded by parents, siblings, William, Carolyn, Betty Ann, Sonny Boy and Rena. Granddaughter, Ulanda Bond. Also preceded by beloved niece, Cynthia Johnson Madlock.

Survived by sons, John (Katie) Bond IV, Gary P. Bond, Kevin(Tamra) Bond Sr., and Carlo (Sanita) Bond, and many loving grandchildren: Sonia O’Neal, Tasha Bond, Jed Mansell, Brittany Berryman, Gary P. Bond Jr., Kevin S. Bond Jr., Angie Parker, Tangie Heath, Jazzy Brewer and DeAndre Bond, Raj Bond, John C. Bond, Priya D. Bond; along with numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. And also special thanks to her loving niece Annie Johnson Lewis for her tender care for our mom whenever needed. Also thanks to many other family and friends.
