Marlene Denise Graham

Marlene Denise Graham was the second child born to Catherine Williams and Clinton Williams on August 13, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois.  Marlene was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Marlene had accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a very early age.  She was no stranger to any church.  If there were any organizations that needed help, such as food pantires, shelters, family gatherings or any other sources, she was always there to give a lending hand if she could.

Marlene graduated from Richards Vocational High School in 1989.  She was so proud to get her first job while she was in school at McDonald's.  After graduating from high school, she attended Capri Beauty College.  Then she started working for United Blood Services for many years for the last 18 years of her life.  She was currently employed at the Federal Reserve Bank.  Her supervisors and co-workers spoke highly of her as a deducated, hard worker.  In 2014, Marlene graduated from Northwestern University with her Bachelor's degree with honors.

Marlene was married to Darryl Graham, Sr. for many years and to this union, they had two sons, Darryl Jr. and Jirah.

Marlene Denise Graham lost her battle to pancreatic cancer on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 4:42 a.m.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories; her beloved parents, Catherine and Clinton Williams; her two sons, Darryl Graham, Jr. (Ciera) and Jirah Graham; and her one and only grandson, Jamal Robert Graham, whom she loved so dearly; her brothers, Lamar, Clinton "Mario", Clinton, Jr., Christian; three sisters, Aixa, Alicia and Amber; her only god-son, Joshua Lee; also she leaves two sisters-in-law, Laqueta (Louis) Readus and Sherry Triplett; one brother-in-law, Clarence Graham, Jr.; best friend, Adrienne Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, great cousins, other relatives and friends.
