Mary Mobley

Mary C. Mobley was born March 7, 1956 in Starkville, Mississippi to Mary Harris and JC Mobley.  She was called home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2020.

Mary attended Joliet Public Schools and Joliet East High School.  She was affectionately known as “Mae” to many. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mobley; stepfather, Phil Lowe; brothers, William Harris and JC Mobley, Jr.; and her son, James Patrick, Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories; her father, JC Mobley; two uncles, James Harris and Pete (Marla) Harris; her children, Shawn Mobley, Sr., Lakisia Mobley and Amory Patrick; 12 grandchildren, James Patrick, Shayla (Julian), Tashi, Domonique, Shereata, Shawn, Jr. (Jordan), Kassandra, Kierra, Anyah, Rashad,  Jr., Zoey and Porsha; two great grandchildren, Skylar and Summer; niece, Lawanda Bradley.  She also leaves behind her god-children (niece and nephew), Twyla Speed and John Lee; one sister-in=law,, Vera Harris and special cousin, Letha Davis; her dear friends of more than 50 years, Alcola Green, Cynthia D’Hulster, Arcola Bradley, Robin Speed, Diane Jordan, Velma Waddell and DeVonna Epps and many other relatives and friends.
