Maxine Rose Moffett

Maxine Moffett was born May 30, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York, to Eloise Hightower Morgan and Clinton Morgan, Sr. She was called home to be with the Lord, on May 5, 2020. 

Maxine graduated from Wyandanch High School in 1976.  She was employed through the Joliet Public School District 86 for over 15 years.  Working for the school district was a passion for her.  She loved to be around children and spoiling them. 

Maxine was a caring and loving woman.  Everyone around her loved her.  She has touched many lives. 

Maxine was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Morgan, Bobby Morgan, Charles Morgan, and Clinton (Buggy) Morgan, Jr., and one sister, Anna Mae (Joyce) Smith. 

Maxine leaves behind to cherish her memories, her beloved husband of 20 years, Jerry Moffett, Sr. Her children, Kimberly (Chris) Winns, Denise (Adam) Winns, Tameka (Kenny) Winns, Demery (Chris) Winns, Dennis (Chrissy) Winns, Jr., Darrell (Meghan), Jerry C.  (Rosemary) Moffett, Anthony Williams, Denita Williams, and Latoya Moffett; grandchildren, Destiny, Kierra, Alexis, Aebony, Ra’Shawn, Ariana, Aidan, Christopher Jr., Khiana, Aiden, Airrion, Darien, Jayshaun, Laron, Eliyanna, Jada, James, Azavier, Aviyanna, Anaya, Isaiah, and Jeremiah; sisters, Peggy Winns and Phyllis Morgan; her brothers, Glenn Morgan, Ronald Morgan, Josephus Johnson, and Gary Morgan.  Maxine also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
