Nadean Sims of Joliet, IL was born January 14, 1951, in Cromwell, Alabama.
She was raised in Choctaw County, she attended Choctaw County Training School in Lisman, AL.
She was a member of Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church, Nadean accepted Christ at an early age. She wed David Sims and devoted herself to him and their sons, Keith and Christopher Sims.
Known for her humor and comforting presence, Nadean never met a stranger and loved her friends and family. As a crafter, many were the recipients of her beautiful floral arrangements. Nadean is forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Keith Sims, grandchildren Lavon, Ieashia and Tanisha Sims, great-granddaughter Brooklyn Sims; siblings, Thomas and Harges Fitch and generations of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nadean is preceded in death by husband David Sims, son Christopher Sims; parents, Augusta (Ezell) and Walter Fitch; brothers, Willie, Don, Johnnie, Alfonza, Walter, and Harold Fitch.
