Pattlynn Robinson-Davis

Pattlynn Robinson was born July 17, 1948, to the union of the late Jennie Mae Pargo and Ernest L. Robinson in Amory, Mississippi. 

Pattlynn Robinson attended West Amory High School and graduated in 1966.

Pattlynn met the love of her life, Louis Davis in 1972. They married and happily raised their children together Donnell, Ricky, Dennis, Kanzee, Dina, Michelle.

Pattlynn was a member of the New Joy City COGIC (Formerly Full Gospel COGIC) under the leadership of founder, Pastor Jeff C. Ball, Jr. and Pastor Jeffery L. Ball for over 30 years. She faithfully served on many departments within her local church as the Pastor’s Aid President, a Missionary and the Motherboard and as H. W. Goldsberry District Hospitality President. 

Everyone knew her for her big and giving heart, always exemplifying the love of Christ. 

On the morning of Thursday, November 21, 2024, she made her transition to be with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Pattlynn was deeply devoted to her family. She loved her children, grandchildren and her abundance of Godchildren.

She is preceded in death also by her sisters. June Bonner, Vanessa Marsh, Shirley Butcher and husband, Louis Davis.

Pattlynn leaves to cherish her memory: Donnell (Antionette), Ricky, Dennis (Jasmine), Kanzee, Dina, Michelle and Darlene (Christian); grandchildren: Jackie, Marcos, Jose Jr., and Jaliyah; great-grandchild: Angel Jr.; godchildren, Larry, Breanna, Jaeden, Rachel, Ronald, Samira. Siblings: Robert Jr. (Vivian) Pargo, Ellis (Janice) Pargo, Vela (Ted) Williams, Jennifer Pargo, Ernest Lee, Robinson and Eddie Roy Robinson. Special friends: Yvette Ivy, Melinda Perry; and a host of extended church family.
