Paul Kevin James Sr. was born June 20, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Howard James and Dorothy Weinfurther. He attended Chicago Public Schools. Paul worked several positions during his lifetime as a Cab Driver and Tow Truck Operator, but his most memorable position was his employment with The Laundry Room in Joliet, Illinois.
Paul was a very kind and helpful person. He was definitely the kind of person you could always count on. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed watching wrestling, baseball, and football. He was a very outgoing person that enjoyed conversating.
Paul departed this life on August 10, 2024 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, IL, and is preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary L. Robinson.
Paul leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Theresa (Richard) Gant of Joliet, IL, two sons, Paul (Bruce) Walters-James of Blacksburg, Virginia and L.J. Barga of Joliet, IL; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, his beloved dog, “Buster,” and two best friends, Butch Iverson and Shirley Clements. He also has a host of family and friends.
