Phyllis Yvonne Farmer was born November 3, 1957, in Joliet, Illinois to Joseph and Juanita Farmer. She attended Edna Keith Grade School, Washington Junior High School, and graduated from Joliet Central High School, Class of 1975.
Phyllis decided to join the military and spent over 8 years in the U. S. Army at various duty stations. Phyllis loved arts, sewing and crafts and could often be found at fabric and hobby stores. She was also an avid reader and spent many hours at the library.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Juanita Farmer, and an Infant brother, Ronald Eugene.
Surviving Phyllis are her four children, Christopher (Svetlana) Farmer; Arianna Amanze (fiancé Kenya); Jennifer Roberts; Denise (Steve) Dyke; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
