Quentin Maurice Cage

Quentin Maurice Cage was born on July 16, 1960 to George Cage and Louise Henderson in Chicago, Illinois. 

He attended Joliet Public Schools.

Quentin worked many jobs; his last job, he worked as a laborer at Sunny Hill Nursing Home.  Quentin became disabled in 2000.

Quentin was an avid martial arts artist.  He loved to show off his karate and his lunchunk skills.  He also loved to paint and grow flowers in the garden. Quentin was an animal lover, he would always play with his dog, “Valentine.”

He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at AMITA Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his father, George Cage of Detroit, Michigan.

Quentin is survived by his five brothers, George Cage, Kenneth E. Cage, Robert Cage, Kerry L. Cage and Reginald L. Henderson; four sisters, Sharon (Reb) Credit, Phyllis E. Cage, both of Joliet, IL Lisa Rainey and Vickie Cage of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is also survived by his beloved mother, Louise Henderson of Joliet, Illinois. Quentin is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a special cousin, Percy Dukes and special friend, Jerry Bass and a very, very special aunt and caregiver of eight years, Mary B. Collins; a very special cousin, Rosalind Jenkins.

The family loved you very much and thank you for your love and special care for Quentin.
