Quincy Williams Obituary

Quincy Levell Williams was born September 9, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois to Evelyn “Sherry” Williams and Alvin Cherry Sr.

His father, Alvin Cherry Sr.; his grandparents, Verna and Aurliacie Williams, Eddie Cherry Sr.; and Carolyn; aunties and uncles, Paulette, Ruth, Nick Williams, and Eddie Cherry Jr. all preceded  him in death.

Quincy confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church.

Quincy graduated from Guggenheim Elementary School and furthered his education at Morgan Park High School where he graduated.

Quincy was a jack of all trades.  Whatever you needed done, he would do it.  If you needed anything fixed, cooked, variety of essentials and non essential technology.  He has also been known to help several people obtain their driver’s license.  A straight up bookworm.  Quincy was the life of the party; always cracking jokes and laughing; but his main past time was cooking and eating.

Quincy accepted the calling of the Lord and went on to Glory on May 1, 2020 at 6:45A.M.

Quincy leaves to cherish and mourn, his loving mother, Evelyn “Sherry”; stepfather, Floyd “Schoolboy”; two daughters, De’ja and D’Nevaeh (Sharon); nine sisters, Shaumonte, Shenaque, Evelyn, Floyeisha, Nicole, and Danielle, all of Chicago, IL; Keturah, Patrice, and Tanisha, all of Milwaukee, WI; eight brothers, Randy, Randell, Nick, Bronco, and Derrick, all of Chicago, IL; Eric, David, and Alvin Cherry Jr., all of Milwaukee, WI; three aunts, Angela of Chicago, IL; Cathryn and Alma, both of Milwaukee, WI; one uncle, Carnell “Mookie”; one great-aunt, Verna “Candy”; two great-uncles, Steve and Clarence; one special friend, Jasmine; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
