Quintin (Bass) Bailey Obituary

Quintin Lavell Bailey, affectionately called “QB” was born to Dorothy Bailey and George Shaw in Joliet, Illinois on March 25, 1979.  He gained his wings on Friday, September 10, 2021.

Quintin accepted Christ at an early age at Fellowship Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Bishop L. Rimpson.  He attended Joliet Public Schools.

Quintin was a lovable person, even more if you could get him to smile or even talk.

Quintin in preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, J.C. Bailey; cousins, Katrina and Latonya Bailey and one brother, Deandre Scott.

Quintin is survived by his parents; Dorothy Bailey of Joliet, IL and George Shaw of Joliet, IL; extended father, Manual Ramat; three brothers, Billy (Ranisah) Bailey, Carl (Shannon) Bailey and Freddie (Tammy) Duncan; two aunts, Gloria Bailey and Regina Bailey; one uncle, Dennis Bailey; maternal grandmother, Ethel (J.C.-deceased) Bailey; great aunt, Teattie (Willie Lee-deceased) Campbell; close friend, Charlene Edmond; best friends, Byrson Barefield and John Foster Jr.; numerous of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
