Raymond Watson Obituary

Raymond M. Watson was born to Mr. and Mrs. Herman and Freda Watson on January 31, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois.

Raymond was one of seven children. Malcolm Hermina and Aubree preceded him in death. Baby Ray will be missed. Raymond graduated from Wendell Phillips High School and later furthered his education at a Community College. Raymond was employed by the city of Calumet as a City Inspector where he exemplified outstanding workmanship.

On September 15, 1979 Raymond married Gladys Watson, together they had a combined family of six children. Raymond accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.

Raymond was an exceptionally and likable person, he would talk your ears off.

On Friday, September 6, 2019 his heavenly Father said, my son come home, job well done.

Raymond leaves precious memories with his loving wife, Gladys; two brothers, Leonard and Andre; sister, Adrienne; two daughters, Margo and Melody; four sons, Raymond Jr., Carlos, Shonn and Diamone; grandchildren, Dr. Robert Jr., Nikkita, Sherita, Brandon, Lauren, Tyler, Grant, Madison, Zackery; two great grandchildren, and a host of many brothers and sisters-in-law and friends.
