In his 41 years, Rickie Levell Ellis Sr. shared his love, compassion, and infectious smile with those he loved. Born September 29, 1979 in Joliet, Illinois, to Margie Walker Parish. Rickie departed this earth unexpectedly on November 6, 2020. He was educated in Joliet Public Schools
As a child he grew up in Prayer Tower C.O.G.I.C. into high school age.
Growing up Rickie had an interest in culinary arts and wanted to start be a chef, because he loved food. Rickie had a special relationship with each of his siblings
Most of all he loved his children, Rickie Ellis Jr., Rihanna Hudson Ellis and Jakobe Ellis. He could go on and on talking about them and what the wanted in life for them.
Rickie was outgoing and funny. He will always be remembered by his infectious smile and caring personality.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Margree Walker. His uncle Larry Walker; grandfather, Leon Betts, uncle, Eugene Betts, aunt, Veronda Mitchell; nephew, Jeremy Marble
He leaves to morn his life, mom, Margie Walker Parrish, his dad, Rickey (Donna) Ellis; sisters, Laquita Walker, Stacey (Shannon) Dillard, Dedrick (Lisa) McCullen; grandparents, Jack and Mildred Keene; brothers, Gabriel and Ivann Myart, Adrian (Rebecca) Ellis; his children, Rickie Ellis Jr., Rihanna Hudson Ellis, and JaKobe Elllis; special cousins, Tycee Bell, Jeremiah Bell, Kyle Parker, Lovelee Walker Jr. and Ernie Gregory. His devoted godparents, Gregory and Tamara Warren; special friends, Bennye “Rocky” Brown and Idrena, Frankie McDaniels, Janaro McClellan and Jerie McClellan (deceased) A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
