Robert Leroy Byrd was born July 15, 1972 to Christine Byrd and Robert Hester in Joliet, Illinois.
He moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin with his uncle and aunt, Perry and Ruth White and was loved, cared and nurtured by them. He attended Kenosha Public Schools and moved to Joliet, Illinois for his high school years and graduated from Joliet Central High School.
He was united in holy matrimony to Kiki L. Gregory and to this union, three children were born.
Robert enjoyed reading comic books, science fiction movies, martial arts, cooking and collecting baseball cards.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louis Byrd and Mildreana (John) Edmon; his aunt, Ruth White and brother-in-law, Willie James Terry.
He passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Illinois.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Kiki L. Byrd; three children, Malik Byrd, Miya Byrd and Malia Byrd; his mother, Christine Byrd of Joliet, IL and father, Robert (Barbara) Hester of Joliet, IL; two sisters, Victoria Byrd of Joliet, IL and Christy (Rodney) Pierce of Las Vegas, NV; one grandson, Khalil Burgin; beloved uncle, Perry White; special cousin, Renee Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
