Robert Duncan was born to the union of Laura and Edward Duncan on May 26, 1949 in Joliet, Illinois; one of three triplets. He joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church at an early age. He graduated from Lockport High School. He worked at the First National Bank and Al’s Steak House until he became ill. He was a resident of Joliet for 20 years and Lockport for 52 years. Robert enjoyed cosmetology and loved crossword puzzles.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Duncan; father, Edward Duncan Sr.; three sisters, Berniece Thompson, Rosalie Temple and Katie Edwards; two brothers, Richard Duncan and James Duncan.
Robert passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Joliet Area Community Hospice in Joliet, Illinois.
He leaves to mourn; one faithful and devoted sister, Edna Middleton Bacon and one beloved brother, Edward Duncan Jr.; one devoted niece, Sylena Moffett; one devoted nephew, Jesse Middleton Jr.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friend; a lifetime friend, Linda Martin.
