Robert Lee Lanier

Robert L. Lanier was born March 19, 1939 to the late J.P. and Addie Brown Lanier in Jackson, Tennessee.

He departed this life on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

After working at Fisher Body for some years, he became self-employed as an Electrician until retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.P. and Addie Lanier; four brothers, Willie (Ela Mae) Green, Joe Lanier, Frank (Bee) Lanier, Fred (Emma) Asket; grandson, Delasse (Chubby) Lanier; great granddaughters, Antasia Jones, Alexis Mabry and Navaeh Robinson.

He leaves to cherish his loving wife of 59 years, Rose L. Lanier; seven children, Deborah Lanier, Beverly Ulmer, Dale Lanier, Rufus (Symmenett) Lanier, Felix Lanier, Andre Lanier and LashaLanier; one sister, Jerrina Lanier; special nephew, James (Doris) Green; fourteen grandchildren, Michelle, Brynell, Tywayne(Shanna), Vernisha, Dominique, Sharmika, Delasse, Kesha, Eric, Brianna, Devon, Angelina, Lynsse and China; thirty-four great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
