Robin Whitted

Robin Michelle Whitted was born on September 21, 1961, in Joliet, Illinois to Curtis and Gretta Whitted.  Robin was an only child. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, at an early age. Family members have memories of her attending Sunday School and Bible School at Second Baptist. 

Robin was educated in the Joliet Public and Parochial School systems. She also attended Joliet Junior College, specializing in Culinary Arts. She loved to cook. 
Robin enjoyed being around her aunts, uncles, many, many cousins and other relatives. She looked forward to the yearly celebration that was held every summer at her grandparents home in Harvey, Illinois. Robin had a passion for babysitting the younger children. Robin was introduced to the cultural arts by her mother. From trips to plays, museums, formal dinners, and travels with her parents and extended family, Robin had an extraordinary life. Robin will be dearly missed. 

Robin is preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Jessie Whitted and Willie and Ruby Spivey;  her parents, Curtis and Gretta Whitted;  her aunts, Mary Francis, Catherine, Hattie, Florine, and Betty;  her uncles, Fred,Jr., Jesse, Raymond, Elmer, Jimmy, James, Horace, and Walter; and many cousins. 

Robin is survived by her aunts, Barbara (Edwin)Williams, Marie Spivey, Jacqueline “Jackie” (Clarence, Jr.) Westbrooks, and William “Billy” (Shirley) Spivey;  Sister-Cousin 
Kim Stevens;  God Son Brandon Stevens ;  many, many cousins and friends, and her beloved LuLu.
