Ronald Dean Towles

Ronald D. Towles affectionately known as Dean was born July 14, 1953 in Harrisburg, IL.  Dean went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2022. 

A resident of Joliet area since childhood,  Dean attended Fairmont School and graduated from the Lockport High School. He accepted Christ at a young age and was an active member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.  At Mt. Olive, Dean served for many years as Chief of Maintenance until his recent time of passing.  

In his spare time, Dean enjoyed painting, visiting garage sales, catching a good football game, roofing, and his favorite, fishing.  You could catch Dean across the state many of day on the fish bank. 

Dean was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Clayton, his aunts, Harriet Towles and Joyce Washington, and his uncle Clarence Washington. 

Dean leaves to cherish his memory his son, Daimar Towles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
