A Time To Be Born...

Ronald Woolfolk was born on March 28, 1951 in Cook County, Illinois to the late George and Annie Woolfolk Sr.  He was affectionately known as Ronnie.  He attended Dwight D. Eisenhower in Blue Island, Illinois where he graduated with a general diploma in 1969.  He later received his degree in Political Science from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio.

A Time to Serve...

Woolfolk immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1968.  Ronald and his late brothers, Steven and George Jr. all served in the Vietnam War at the same time.  Upon returning from Vietnam, Woolfolk graduated from the Police Academy where he later served in the same municipality station his father served.

A Time to Marry:

On June 4, 1978, Woolfolk married Carolyn Coppage-Derden to which one daughter was born.

A Time To Rest...

He retired in 2009 as the Deputy Chief of Robbins Police Department after having a rich resume, including being a Lieutenant investigator, police supervisor, investigator, captain security, and bus driver.

A Time to Die...

Ronald Woolfolk transitationed Friday morning January 24, 2025 in his sleep at his home with his wife, daughter and son-in-law. He leaves to cherish his memories; his beloved and devoted wife, Carolyn; two daughters, Catherine and Demita (Edgar); 2 grandchildren, Maurice and Trisha (Luis); 6 great grandchildren, Xalia, Ixel, Devin, Daniella, Marisa, Aubri; 4 sisters, Barbara, Cheri (Jesse) Espinola, and Tina; two nephews, Sidney and Richard (Christine), three nieces, Demita (John) Tatiana, Talkia; 2 faithful selfless caregivers, Deloris and Kelaura; 1 best friend for over 65 years, Elder Lawrence Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
