Sharon Barker Obituary

Sharon Anita Barker was born February 10, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri to her mother, Willie Mae Ingram and her late father, William E. Barker. Sharon eventually moved to her beloved hometown of Joliet, Illinois where she was (third born) accompanied by her siblings, Joyce (Timothy) Tucker, Leon Barker, Elder William E II (Patricia) Barker, Sylvia Rose Barker, Everett Barker, as well as her late siblings (Dorris Lavern Lanier) as well as her oldest sister on her father's side (Doris ) and her brother, Lee (Leebo) Barker. 

Sharon attended Joliet Central High School. She has always enjoyed cooking and caring for anyone that she knew. 
 

Sharon was extremely loyal and loving to her family and friends. She would give someone the shirt off of her back with no hesitation. She left an impression on anyone she mee. She was a true leader, a friend, a comforter and a confidant. Her personality would light up everywhere she went. 

Sharon’s greatest passion was the Lord! She was ordained by Pastor Ronald Wilder of Joliet, Illinois. She loved doing the work of the Lord. She took great honor and appreciation in it.


Sharon departed this life here on earth April 2, 2021. 

Sharon leaves to cherish her memories: her children,Tiffany Barker of Hopkins, MN, Markilo Seymour of Indianapolis, IN and Keondra Payne of Hopkins, MN. Her grandchildren: Aviere, Dvyne, Devin; mother, Willie Mae Ingram; her siblings, Joyce Tucker of Joliet, Illinois, Elder William E. Barker of Joliet, Illinois, Everett Barker of Joliet, Illinois, Leon Barker of Minneapolis, Minnesota. 
She will be missed tremendously.
