Sina Matthews-Dunn

Sina Matthews was born April 24, 1950, and departed this life on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.  Sina was born to the late Vernice and Edward Matthews Sr.

Sina always made sure that others were taken care of, it made her who she was.  She was highly regarded and respected because of her strong supportive and fierce demeanor.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister.

Sina was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Dunn; parents, Vernice and Edward Matthews Sr.; brothers, Curtis Matthews, Edward Matthews Jr., Booker T. Matthews and Lee Doris Matthews, and grandson, Kevin Brewer.

Sina leaves cherishing memories with her sons, Lee and Shawn Matthews; daughter, Kimberlynn Matthews; seven granddaughters, Tiahmo, Adjoa, Tammarrah, Shawnna, Jasmine, Kyla, and Stella; two grandsons, Marcus and Shawn; 15 great grandchildren; four sisters, Rosiet Chambers (France), Lorraine Bell, Mary Travis (Willie), and Masani Matthews-Bediako (Kwame); brother, Thomas Matthews, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
