Tameaka Nance was born on February 25, 1976, to Shirley Nance and Willie Esters. She was raised in a close-knit family, and from a young age, she showed a strong will and grounded personality. Tameaka was consistently honest, straightforward, and willing to help others in need. She had a kind and loving heart, but if you ever crossed her, you did not want to face her wrath.
Tameaka valued family more than anything else in life. She was devoted to her children and always went out of her way to ensure they had everything they needed to thrive. Tameaka was determined to provide them with the best possible life where they had the opportunity to explore their interests and passions. Tameaka took great pride in being a supportive and loving parent, encouraging her children to pursue their dreams and do their best in whatever they set out to achieve.
Tameaka was a pillar of her community and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Her kind and compassionate nature made her beloved by all who knew her. For over twenty years, she served her communities as a dedicated nurse. Her patients and co-workers knew she would ensure everyone was adequately cared for. Tameaka had a special bond with children and loved spending time with them, whether they were her own or someone else's. Tameaka was always eager to share her knowledge and experience with others, and she was a great listener who could make people feel heard and understood.
Overall, Tameaka was a remarkable person who left a positive impact on everyone she came across. She was a loving mother, a caring friend, and a compassionate member of her community who will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity.
On Sunday, January 21, 2024, Tameaka, her son, Joshua Nance, daughters Alexandria, Alonnah, and Angel Nance, sister Christine Esters, and brother William Esters, were called to their final resting place with the Lord.
