Taneka Manee Jackson was born on March 18, 1986, a twin daughter born to Samuella Jackson and Andrew Osbourne.
Taneka was a quiet child. She spent her childhood running, playing and stunning people with her twin sister. She always looked forward to the holidays and being with her 50-leven (a lot) of cousins and she made sure everybody knew she was the "older" twin.
As she got older, she attended Harper High School. She loved fairytales and pop music, specifically Hanson and NSYNC. She started to get into makeup and hair, so she spent a lot of her teenage years in the mirror and had a new hairstyle shat she did herself.
Taneka was always fun to be around. She loved to have fun, laugh and dance. Although she sometimes played "tough guy," she had a big heart and a soft spot for the children. She baby-sat all of her families and friends children and later in life was a caregiver for her older brother, Jermaine.
She became a mother of her own daughter in 2018 and was overjoyed to finally have the child she always wanted. She became a new person that was all about Ghia and making her happy. She wanted the fairytale life she loved to watch in the movies for her own princess.
Taneka was called home to her ancestors on Sunday, August 15, 2021. She leaves her greatest gift; her only child Ghia; her twin sister, Shaneka; her parents, Samuella and Andrew; her siblings, Tramaine (Samuel) Brown, Andrew, Jermaine, Devonte, Xavaurs, Ashanti, Tyrone and Dalton; nieces and nephews and a huge family of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
