Tenzell Leonte’ Terry was born March 23, 1999 in Joliet, Illinois to the parents of Latesha (Dwayne) Edmon and Charles Mack Jr. Tenzell left this earth to enter his heavenly home on May 30, 2024.
Tenzell accepted Christ at an early age attending New Canaanland Christian Church in Joliet, Illinois. He was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Lonnie E. Posley Sr. Tenzell attended Joliet Public Schools; Joliet West High School, Plainfield South High School, and Christian Community School.
As a youth, Tenzell enjoyed playing sports. He played basketball, football and baseball. Tenzell believed in living life to the fullest. He had a big heart and always showed leadership. Everyone always gravitated towards him, his smile could light up a room. Tenzell spent a lot of time writing his own lyrics, he loved music. He was also a dresser, he had to be sharp from head to toe.
Tenzell was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joycelyn Myers; great grandparents, Clyde and Eartha Mack, Lonnie and Jessie Myers; maternal great grandparents, Jessie and Gilbert Strickland, Ersle and Charles Clarkson and Albirdia and Percy Parker.
Tenzell leaves in precious memory; his two children, Triniti and Tenzell Terry Jr.; siblings, Kalaya, James, Dupri and Dmya; parents, Latesha (Dwayne) Edmon and Charles Mack Jr.; grandparents, Pamela Brown, Dennis (Joyce) Parker, Charles Mack Sr. and Dora Brown; aunts, Rowena, Felicia (Darryus), Tammy, Karen (Charles), Charissa, Chichota and Shevavian; uncles, Richard Myers, Darrell, Jacob, Isaiah, Richard and Julian; niece, Demia and a host of cousins and special friends.
