Terry S. Lockhart

Terry Syvel Lockhart born January 16, 1960 in Joliet, Illinois to the union of Mary Nell and Lovell Lockhart. He departed this life on November 27, 2025.  Terry joined the Body of Christ by accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Terry loved the Lord and his family beyond measure. 

Terry was the oldest of six children. Terry had a heart of gold and would do anything you asked. He was a gentle and kind-hearted man.

Terry held numerous jobs early on but worked for Rendels Inc most of his years. He would later proudly retire from Pactiv Evergreen after 22 years of service. Terry’s favorite past-times were watching sports, a die hard Cub Fan and he loved football. Terry’s lifelong dream was to become a Train Engineer.  He loved watching the trains and he was a collector of all kinds of trains. 

Terry was preceded in death by both of his parents, Lovell Lockhart and Mary Nell Lockhart. His  paternal grandparents, Roosevelt Lockhart and Allene Norris, his maternal grandparents, Chalmous Campbell and Earsie Edwards and one brother, Darrick Lockhart.

He leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Leonard (Meryna) Lockhart of Joliet. Three sisters  Deanna (Alvin) Beckley of Joliet, Ilena and Carmen Lockhart, both of Joliet; two very special nephews, Tieyler King and  Glenn Malone lll, both of Joliet. Terry also leaves his chosen family to cherish his memory, Timothy Webb of Atlanta, GA, April Webb of Joliet, Joshua ( Markeisha) Webb of Joliet and Amber (Kenneth ) Pinnick of Joliet; numerous other relatives, and friends.
