Terry Lynette Maxwell

Terry Lynette Maxwell was born on July 24, 1955 in Joliet, Illinois to the union of William Aker and Maggie Walker.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Georgia Davis; mother, Maggie Walker; father, William Aker; brother, Ralph Simpson; sister, Norma Jean Simpson.  Terry made her transition from this eternal rest on Friday, April 7, 2023 in New Lenox, Illinois.

Terry accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.  She attended high school in Joliet, Illinois.  In 1980 Richard and Terry were united in holy matrimony.  Through this union, four children were born: Cortina Howard (CA), Clifton Maxwell (CA), LeKeisha Maxwell (TX) and Desirae Maxwell (CA).  Terry loved fishing, talking on the phone and giving advice whether you wanted to hear it or not, traveling and most of all she loved family. Terry had a passion caring for people, especially for the elder.  She was a loving CNA most of her career life.

Terry leaves to cherish fond memories with her husband and soul mate, Richard Maxwell Jr.; her sisters, Betty Jean Mercer, Willie James Jefferson, Annie Pruitt, Diane Walker, Robert Walker, Belinda Walker, Karen Maxwell, Carl Maxwell, Jacquelin Maxwell and her children; a host of nieces and nephews, eight grandchiidren.
