1984 – May 11, 2025
With heavy hearts and grateful spirits, we celebrate the life of Tiffany Denise Harris, who was born on May 16,1984 in Joliet, Illinois. Tiffany peacefully entered eternal rest on May 11, 2025, in Sacramento, California. Her radiant spirit, unwavering faith, and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on every life she touched.
Tiffany was the beloved daughter of Cynthia Jones-Harris and the late Dillard Harris. She was preceded in heaven by her father, Dillard Harris, her grandmother, Erma Edwards, grandfather, Dillard Harris Sr., aunt Carol Harris, and uncle Wilson Frost.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Cynthia Jones-Harris; cherished grandmother, Geneva Harris; loving half-sister, Christina Waters; beloved godmother, Wannetta Davis; treasured god-siblings Kashima Davis, Antonio Trammell, Jourdan Armstrong, and Markell Musgrove; her godson, Jha’Mir Harris; and her best friend Latuasha Williams. She also leaves behind a host of cousins, relatives, friends, and her devoted sorority sisters. Tiffany's village of love also includes all who admired her leadership, her talents, and her boundless generosity.
A woman of many talents, Tiffany was a gifted singer, dancer, fluent Spanish speaker, makeup artist, and creative soul. From a young age, she showed promise in tap, jazz, and ballet, and later became a diverse leader in DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America).
She excelled athletically, playing tennis and basketball in high school. During her senior year of high school, Tiffany participated in a foreign exchange program, spending 30 days in Spain immersed in the culture and language while expanding her global perspective and love for learning.
Her academic excellence earned her a full scholarship to any college of her choice, and in recognition of her accomplishments, her photo was proudly displayed in the superintendent’s office of Madison Metropolitan School District.
Tiffany received her early spiritual formation at Second Baptist Church in Madison, Wisconsin, under the leadership of Pastor D.S. Moss, where she was baptized and actively participated in choir, praise dance, and youth ministry preaching. At the time of her passing, she was a faithful member of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Sacramento, under Pastor Kenneth Reece, where she served as a Greeter and an active participant in the Women’s Ministry.
A proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Tiffany not only exemplified the principles of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood but also chartered a chapter in the state of Arizona, leaving a lasting legacy of leadership. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, continuing her commitment to community and faith-based service.
Professionally, Tiffany served as a Principal for Twin Rivers Unified School District, where she led with integrity, passion, and visionary leadership. Simultaneously, she worked as a Direct Support Professional for Community Anchor Services, providing compassionate care and advocacy for individuals with disabilities. In honor of her unwavering dedication to education and community service, a mural celebrating Tiffany’s life and impact was painted in Sacramento at 1400 P Street, serving as a lasting reminder of her passion, purpose, and the lives she touched.
This public tribute stands not only as a celebration of her life but as a symbol of the light she brought into the world—a beacon for future generations of educators, dreamers, and change-makers.
Her hobbies include traveling, spending quality time with friends, and uplifting those around her. Wherever Tiffany went, she brought light, love, and laughter.
